Kerry Drainage and Civil are delighted to have won at the Auckland CCNZ EXCELLENCE 2021 AWARDS.
Our Awaruku Stream Erosion Remediation project took out the’ CATEGORY A – Projects between Warkworth and Pokeno with a value of less than $500,000′ category.
Managing director Pat McHugh says the win recognises a stellar team effort and demonstrates our company’s expertise and capabilities in the area of Stream and Watercourse remediation
“I was stoked to see our team win this award as we were very proud of the project outcomes. It was really satisfying to see them stand on the stage and receive further acknowledgement from the industry,” says Pat.
“It was a good collaborative team effort, with Auckland Council Healthy Waters (the client), Morphum Environmental (the Designers) and Kerry Drainage & Civil completing the physical works.”
The Awaruku Stream Remediation was a complex environmental project, with multiple stakeholders, high visibility and a sensitive ecosystem.
Kerry Drainage & Civil were proud to be the physical works contractor for the Stream rehabilitation works at Awaruku Stream as the project significantly improved environmental outcomes for the Long Bay- Okura Marine Reserve.
The Project Team managed all those aspects and finished the project to a high standard, whilst protecting and enhancing the aesthetic value of the wetland.
